scallop season is open and early reports point to a good year....worse case is you get to spend 3 hours snorkeling over some of the most pristene waters on the panhandle....watch for Capt MItch on the Bluewater Outrigger fishing report nightly at 6 cst on the SJ news network...next weeks show is on scalloping.
