The first 2 weeks of scallop season have been great. A scallop survey by the Fl. wildlife commission showed the St Joe bay with a 9 fold increase from last year and my last 2 trips have agreed!!! After a few minutes floating around the shallow waters and seeing a couple of examples of what a scallop hides in, everybody's an expert and filling their bags with these tasty critters. Plus you get to spend time in one of the most beautiful bays in Florida snorkeling around a pristine eco-system.....
