Conditions are near perfect on this 6 hour trip to some of the carbody sites. This area is covered with reef sites compliments of the Mexico Beach Reef asso, MBARA.org. Water temp is 87.9 and the sea is flat and clear. We hooked up to a healthy king within 5 minutes after dropping a frozen cigar minnow. Total 7 kingfish, 6 spanish, and this young ladies first cobia. We caught the cobia using live pinfish on a white bucktail jig, we had seen this fish hanging near a floating wood spool while we trolled, we gave him a shot after we cleared the trolling rods, and FISH ON !! She won't forget it and no help needed, thank you very much...
