Meet the Captains
Capt. Mitch Coleman Captain Mitch drove a boat before the wheels came off his first bike. A passion for air and water, from 33 years as an air traffic controller in towers and radar rooms around the world, and anything to do with the water. Capt Mitch is a UCSG licensed captain and a certified scuba diver, giving him a unique perspective of the reef system around Mexico Beach. "Find something you love to get up in the morning to do and you'll never work a day in your life". Spend a adventure with Capt. Mitch and share his enthusiasm for this "forgotten coast".
Capt. Dewey Blaylock
Dewey has fished his entire life – growing up on the Gulf Coast in Destin, Florida. Working boat a family boat, and first mate on charter boats – Dewey knows the offshore Fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. Since then – Dewey has learned fishing from Captains around the Carribean and Central Pacific Ocean. With Marlin and Sailfish experience – anything can happen. Dewey specializes in offshore BIG GAME trolling trips as a captain for hire. These will be full day trips, covering lots of water. Many tournament winning wahoo have come from boats with Dewey as Captain. LETS GO OFFSHORE
Zach Ferrell
Native South Georgian, spent his summers fishing the Mexico Beach waters since he was able to walk. After graduating from Ga. Tech, he spent 2 years in the Pacific Ocean and Carribbean fishing places like Costa Rica, Panama, Mexico, Bahamas, and Key West on private Sportfish Yachts as a professional mate. He is well versed in all types and styles of offshore fishing, from Trolling to Live Baiting to Kite Fishing. Since moving back full-time to Mexico Beach, Zach's work career is in real estate, and when time permits he enjoys fishing out of Mexico Beach as well as Billfish Tournaments all over.
Capts. Scott and Cindy Tisdale
Capt. Bil Lindstrom
Scott Tisdale and Bil Lindstrom are National Association of Underwater Instructor (NAUI) Instructor, Divemasters and Rescue Divers, in addition to both being certified lifeguards, CPR, and First Aid Providers. Scott is also a licensed EMT and Bil is a USCG Licensed Merchant Marine Captain.
Captain Alan Sligh
Capt. Alan has been a Coast Guard Licensed captain for 10 years, with experience operating a paddle-wheel boat in his native Georgia, oil-field service ships in Louisiana, and as a captain of Department of Defense boats in Panama City.
For the last six years he has operated his own charter boat, offering fishing, shelling and snorkel trips. Family fishing trips are his specialty, and he enjoys tailoring trips to suit children of different ages.
